Candidate for Moreno Valley City Council – District 4Integrity • Service • Accountability︿M︿Hello, and welcome!I am Nikita Wilson, a mother, neighbor, community advocate, and Moreno Valley resident.My family first came to Moreno Valley in 1994, and I returned nearly 14 years ago & District 4 became my home.Over the years, I have served Moreno Valley through community advocacy by supporting veterans, assisting seniors , single mothers, & connecting families with resources, advocating for residents living in unsafe housing conditions, and standing up for individuals facing disability discrimination.Today, I also serve on the
Moreno Valley parks, recreation facilities, trails, community services commission. Above all,
I am your neighbor.

Those experiences showed me how important it is for residents to have leaders who are accessible, prepared, and engaged with the people they represent.Rather than becoming discouraged,
I chose to become more involved. Through community advocacy, volunteer service, and serving as a commissioner, I learned that meaningful change begins with listening, showing up, and doing the work.I am running for Moreno Valley City Council district 4 because I believe every resident deserves to feel heard, respected, and represented. My goal is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, make informed decisions, and always remember that public service is about the people we serve.Leadership is built on integrity, service, and accountability.

Mi compromiso es escuchar, servir y trabajar con integridad para construir un mejor Moreno Valley para todos.Espero tener el honor de servir a una comunidad tan diversa como la nuestra.
